MGM College, Dimapur, held its 6th Graduation Ceremony on Friday, 8 August 2025, at the college auditorium, marking a milestone for 41 graduates from the Arts and Commerce streams.
The event was attended by Prof. Dipak Sinha, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Medziphema Campus, Nagaland University, as Special Guest; Prof. Tankeswar Gohain from the School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema Campus, Nagaland University; and members of the Governing Body.



Proceedings began with an academic procession and the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, the Principal, Administrator, and Dean of Students. Principal Dr. R. K. Behera formally declared the graduation day open, congratulating the graduands and highlighting learning as a lifelong process, while commending faculty for shaping students into responsible citizens.

Administrator Fr. Giju George delivered the welcome address and extended felicitations to the guests. In his keynote speech, Prof. Sinha congratulated the graduates and underscored that learning and hard work are the keys to success, noting there are no shortcuts to excellence. He urged the students to dream big, keep a positive outlook, and view the occasion as the beginning of greater achievements.
The programme included a convocation hymn by the college choir, the felicitation and presentation of graduates, and a speech on behalf of the graduates by Miss Wahida Begum Tapader. A musical performance by Mr. Nathenlemba added a celebratory tone. The ceremony concluded with a closing speech by Dr. Vili Kibami, IQAC Coordinator.
